FISHING FOR THE FUTURE

SUNFISH SOUTH MORETON BRANCH

The South Moreton Branch Inc. covers a vast area from the south side of the Brisbane River to the New South Wales border, and westward to where Queensland meets the borders of New South Wales, South Australia and Northern Territory.
Members of Sunfish are from many cultures, walks of life and occupations.
We are an apolitical organisation.

As a Branch, we are in partnership and have affiliations with many groups and associations with similar aims, objectives and minor impacts threatening our fishery.
A working relationship with State and Local Government Departments has been developed and our Branch has gained support for many of our projects, programs and activities.

Our branch is dedicated to the, education of young people in angler education programs, caring for the marine environment and the creatures within, and the management and maintenance of a sustainable future of the Queensland Fishery.

Our meetings are held alternately on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the:

Our efforts in our annual Clean up the Pin project of removing rubbish from the southern bay islands have been recognised with the following;
